Strong Women Fellowship
The Strong Women: Know Them, Be Them fellowship is an empowering educational cohort providing Jewish teens in Atlanta with unparalleled access to strong women leaders, thinkers and voices shaping the world we live in today.
Each month teen participants meet speakers, tour organizations, and engage in relevant learning that speaks to what it means to be a woman in our time, helps young people grapple with the obstacles they face, and prepares them to be the leaders they can be today and in the future.
Fellows will also have the opportunity to write articles and create digital content for VOX ATL › , Atlanta's home for teen publishing and self-expression.
This fellowship is possible through a generous grant from the Jewish Women's Fund of Atlanta › and its mission to expand opportunities in the lives of Jewish women and girls via effective grant-making, advocacy, and education through a gender lens.
The fellowship cohort will meet approximately twice each month from September 2019-May 2020. 2nd Sunday afternoons in Dunwoody at a central location are designated as the main gathering where fellows will meet with female speakers in an interactive learning community.
