In 2019, ADL reported the highest number of antisemitic incidents in our four decades of recording the data, with nearly 200 of these incidents nationwide occurring on college campuses. From swastikas on dorm room doors to Zoombombing, antisemitism and bias continue to persist in university communities in 2020, even in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. This Friday, join ADL Southeast for a special webinar hosted by ADL Southeast Board members Allan Hamer and Sheri Whiteman and featuring guests Kelly Cohen , Director of JumpSpark, Dr. Steve Dorman, President of Georgia College & State University, Elliot Karp, CEO of Hillels of Georgia, Rev. Greg McGonigle , University Chaplain/Dean of Religious Life at Emory University, and Rianna Saslow, UNC Chapel Hill student and Atlanta native, for a discussion about experiences of and responses to antisemitism and bias in colleges across the region.
