Amy's Holiday Party

Amy’s Holiday Party (AHP) is a winter celebration serving children and families in need from 40+ agencies around Atlanta, including homeless shelters, foster care networks, and refugee centers.

Now in its 25th year, AHP provides carnival games, craft projects, a DJ dance party, a full meal, holiday cheer, a picture with Santa, and a visit to our “toy store.” Our guests are paired with teen volunteers so they can experience first-hand their community’s compassion and interest in helping them through a difficult time. CCC provides thousands of children in need with opportunities to celebrate and be celebrated each holiday season! Last year’s event provided:

  • More than 1,000 children and families in need an unforgettable holiday celebration
  • 400 volunteers a chance for meaningful service work
  • 2,000 brand new gifts from our toy store
  • 3,000 pizza slices
  • And so much more!

Join hundreds of other teen volunteers to offer thousands of children in need life-enhancing programs throughout the year where they get to celebrate and be celebrated.  Our mission is to provide children and families in need with opportunities they would not otherwise receive and empower teen volunteers to do meaningful, engaging, and fun volunteer work.  Earn volunteer hours volunteering at our programs, which include:

As a volunteer, you will help hundreds of children enjoy:

  • Carnival games
  • Arts and crafts
  • Sports activities
  • DJ dance party
  • A full meal, and
  • Brand new gifts
  • Seasonal/holiday-related activities (i.e. pictures with Santa, planting spring flowers, Halloween haunted house, water slides…)

Jobs range from setting up/breaking down our events, running activity stations, working one-on-one with our guests to take them through the activities, and more.
